Mitch Praver Named President of SundaySky

SundaySky, the provider of a groundbreaking online video solution, today announced that Mitch Praver, a seasoned media executive, has joined the company as its President.

SundaySky is an early-stage technology company that has created a revolutionary solution which enables publishers, marketers and e-commerce sites to quickly, easily and cost effectively infuse their websites with dynamically-generated videos.
Praver has strong digital media experience with industry-leading companies. He brings to SundaySky a breadth and depth of experience in advertising, subscription services and e-commerce activities.


Praver comes to SundaySky from NPR where he has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer since 2007. At NPR he led several key areas of the operation including digital media, technology, news and programming, business development, and key support departments. Previously, he was Executive Vice President of Hillcrest Labs, a venture-backed technology company. He also held senior roles with AOL, where he was General Manager of its web personals subscription business; NationalGeographic.com, where he served for six years as President of the digital media businesses; and Discovery Communication, where he was Vice President of New Media Distribution.  He began his digital media career as head of Programming and Content Development for Verizon’s pioneering video on demand service, Stargazer.
