SundaySky Appoints Kelly Ford Vice President of Marketing
SundaySky, the creator of SmartVideo, today announced it has named Kelly Ford as the company’s vice president of marketing. A veteran of emerging and established companies, Ford comes to SundaySky from Operative Media, where she was senior vice president of marketing. Ford brings deep experience in creating market categories, feeding sales pipelines, and developing strategies that grow Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) businesses. Ford will be instrumental in solidifying SundaySky’s leadership position as the creator of SmartVideo.
“At a time when SundaySky is redefining what it means to effectively engage with prospects and customers through SmartVideo, it’s essential that we have the right person at the helm of our marketing efforts,” said Jim Dicso, president and chief revenue officer of SundaySky. “Kelly’s experience in leading companies into forward-looking markets is a great asset – one that will pay dividends as we continue to help our expanding customer base use SmartVideo to engage, entertain and inform through our platform.”
Previously, in addition to her time at Operative Media, Ford headed marketing at LivePerson, a provider of real-time chat, voice and content solutions. She has also held leadership roles at Oriel, an online marketplace for handmade wines; Groove Networks, now Microsoft; and IBM.
“I am thrilled to join the SundaySky team. The company has pioneered a unique market category, is growing at an impressive clip, and has a talented team laser-focused on delivering value for leaders in marketing, advertising and customer care. I look forward to building upon this solid foundation, increasing SundaySky’s presence in the market, and growing its business in existing and new markets,” said Kelly Ford, SundaySky vice president of marketing.
